List of Thriller Sub-Genres

A thriller is used to describe a genre in media such as television, film or books. Elements which identify a thriller are the use of protagonist which is the hero and the antagonist which is the villain. Other elements to make up a thriller include cliff hangers and suspenseful scenes which add to creating fast paced action. There are however different types of thriller which are identified in their own aspect.

These are a list of different sub-genres of thriller:

The sub-genre of thriller which inspires me at the moment is action thriller. Action thriller contains suspenseful scenes and cliff hangers which create tense drama and a dramatic atmosphere. Gun, explosions, weapons and fight scenes add to building a diverse action thriller. Blood and violence is elaborated all throughout an action thriller which amazes me a lot at this moment.
