What Is Suspense?

Suspense is used as an element of a film, it is conveyed in many ways to create unparalleled tension and uncertainty for the audience, allowing for the scene to develop. However, other than uncertainty, suspense keeps the eye's of the audience firmly open by creating excitement and peaks of anxiety by giving the audience a degree of apprehension which only a thriller, and not a comedy or romance can deliver.
