Skills Audit: Livetype & Soundtrack

In our group we filmed a sequence for the exercise of ‘Bag Swap’. The sequence consisted of two men with identical bags in a lift and the bags are accidently swapped by one another without their knowing. We had edited the film and then exported the final cut to software called Livetype and Soundtrack.
With Livetype we were able to add our own credits for our title sequence using different fonts, effects, transitions and colour. This had given our sequence a professional look and created a good thrilling opening to a film.

With Soundtrack we were able export the sequence and add music and backing sounds to the sequence. We were able to match specific sounds and noises to the scenes such as pressing a button for the lift and adding in suspenseful music to create the tense atmosphere.
