The thriller sub-genre that inspires me the most at the moment is Action thriller. My reason for this is because I believe out of all the sub-genres Action Thriller is most exciting, interesting and thrilling. Action thriller's appeal to teenager's and as a teenager this appeals to me. It excites me and keeps me on edge at all times. It keeps it fresh and younf. Fast paced editing is mostly used in Action thrillers and this suits the intended feelings of the viewers.

Storyboard - Tainted Evidence
This is the storyboard to our film Tainted Evidence. There are sixty-seven shots in total which all contain various close-ups, medium and long shots, tracking and panning, over the shoulder and point of view shots. We have storyboarded the locations in Liverpool Street but the location could change. There is dialogue used in the storyboard and effects.

Planning and editing of the preliminary match cut exercise

We had to make a match cut film, we had to plan our story before we filmed. Our story was a guy in an office waiting for someone to come and deliver him something and when the other person comes the guy informs him that he was being followed while carryong out this job. We had to shoot a shot reverse shot of the two guys as they were talking. We made a storyboard of the film and done detailed drawings of what was going to happen shot by shot and what sort of shots were going to be used.
The match cut used was when the door was being opened and it was shot from the inside to show the door opening.
After we made the film, we had to edit the film using Final cut pro, soundtrack and livetype. We edited the film to make it shorter and have the relevant shots in it and to make it exciting rather than having it drag on. We used livetype to add the credits in the film. We added the name of the production company, the title of the film the names of actors etc.
We played around with the effects to make the credits stand out and look good.
Cameras and health and safety tutorial

In this tutorial we were taught how to use the camera as well as the
precautions we need to take while using the camera. We were shown how the camera works, what buttons we need to use while filming to get the best possible results. We were shown how to use the tripod and how to place the camera safely on the tripod. We were shown how to focus the camera, where the slot is for the memory card.

There were many safety precautions we were told to take. One was to make sure we don't put our hands or the fingers on the camera lens because it would affect the quality of the filming. Another one was to make sure the camera was placed on the tripod properly as it might fall off. We were also told to open up the tripod properly because if it was not open properly then it might be unbalanced and unsecure.
